Brass Collar Tag With Rivets

To attach the rivet-on tag to your pet's collar:  

1. Place the tag on the collar in the location that you'd like to attach it.
2. Mark where the holes are located and remove the tag.
3. Punch two holes in your pet's collar to match the holes on the tag using a hammer and punch, leather punch, or drill.
4. For nylon collars, you will want to burn the edges of the holes to prevent fraying.
5. Place the tag on the collar, matching the tag holes with the collar holes and slide the rivet posts from the back of the collar though the matched up holes.
6. Snap the rivet caps onto the rivet ends.
7. Use a hammer to tap the rivet and cap together until they are closed snugly around the tag and collar.

We suggest placing the tag on something padded while hammering to prevent damage to the tag.
